i have done it too on the new iguidance and at the beggining i saw nothing. then i restarted the pc and it all worked out. make sure the file is theme.ini cause sometimes when you edit it it is called and seen as theme.ini but is actually theme.ini.txt
remember to restart and it has to work..

this is what i got so far

just need to figure out how to change the background to White(Day) and Black(night)

I restarted once I know but I will try that again. I am very aware that it has to be theme.ini and not theme.ini.txt

sometimes windows hides the extension and it still looks as a .ini file..
but if you are sure about it i guess there is something else wrong. I did the same thing to both mine and my friend's carpc and it worked.
try making a new file and add only

; street name font size in points @ zoom level
STS=20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20

save it as theme.ini and try again... this only makes street font size a lil bigger change the 20 to a bigger number for larger font..
Else i guess i would install Igudance again copy file and try it..

can someone pm me the theme2.ini file? come one guys... I know some of you have it. Please share the wealth.

Okay guys... it's time to try a bit harder. I am not normally one to wave the flag, but in this case... everthing you need is in this thread. I had not done the update myself yet as I had not had a chance and I am here to tell you that it worked for me first attempt. I simply did a cut/paste/save as theme.ini with notepad in the same directory as iguidance.exe and it worked first time. You will just have to try a bit harder, it's no more complicated than that. If it still does not work, your will have to call INav for tech support or try a re-install as there must be something wrong with your installation. This thread is already big enough without more begging.

Sorry... I feel for you guys, but this does work and it is not rocket science...

ok, so what about theme2.ini???

where exactly do i go to edit the theme.ini to increase the fonts that were posted?

just open it with notepad and get to the part at the bottom of the file that says

STS=20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20

the 20's are the font sizes. Just so you know this line is all that is in my theme ini file cuz I just wanted the fontsize changed and nothing else.
