Ok i have my exe all set up with new arrows and bigger zoom buttons. If anyone would like it PM me (for iguidance 2.1). Is it just me or does 2.1 pick up less sats than 2.0 did? Also, has anyone found a way to increase the font size in the Favorites/Recent lists. If those were readable without effort i'd actually have everything running smoothly on that front. (well cept for the damn usb/hibernation issue)

Would you like to take a look at my 2.1.1 DVD version to see if you can figure out the *theme.ini issue. It doesn't seem to work in 2.1.1, and I have a feeling you might be able to figure it out.

So, what do you say?

Give me a few days. I will have my DVD copy of 2.1.1 and that'll be the first thing I'll look into.

In the mean time tell us what your CTHEME.INI does:

1. It prevents your iGuidance from starting

2. It does nothing

3. It causes your iGuidance to crash.

Which one?

I just got a copy of 2.1 (I don't think it is 2.1.1 as the File|About just has V2.1NA) and I can't get it to work. My 2.0 theme.ini does nothing, and if I rename it to ctheme.ini, I get:

"iGuidance has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

As soon as I double click the exe.

Can someone PM me the contents of a theme2.ini/ctheme.ini that works with 2.1?

UPDATE: I removed the MBC setting and then my ctheme.ini worked fine (no more crashing). I would still like to know what ALL the possible settings are.

SUMMERY: If you have 2.1, remove this from ctheme.ini:
; map background color (day nite)
MBC=255,249,230 0,0,0

Map font size can be changed with this:
; street name font size in points @ zoom level
STS=20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20

Road thickness in 2D view mode is changed by this:
; road pen width in pixels @ 100ft FC1-2-3-4-5
RPW0=6 6 5 4 3
;RPW0=2 2 2 2 1
(and the lines bellow this one in your *.ini)

This affects which road and geo-feature classes are displayed at different zoom levels:
; max funclass to draw @ zoom level
MDFC=5 5 5 5 5 4 3 3 2 2 1
;MDFC=5 5 5 5 4 4 3 3 2 2 1


This changes day / night route color:
; route colors
RTC=0,0,255 0,0,255 0,255,0 0,255,0

These settings I find to be useful the most, but there are a few other settings we may experiment with.


P.S. As Michael <Wiredwrx> discovered last night "the hard way", users of the newest iGuidance 2.1.1 have to change the name of the configuration file back to THEME.INI ;-)
