Ctrl+Q looks for window title "iGuidance", so I don't know how that would really work when iGuidance is embedded in a front end application. But if anyone wants I could put together a single purpose hotkey application just to open and close The Magnifier.

Open The Magnifier when you are using navigation, and close The Magnifier when you are using anything else. (Every time you open The Magnifier, it will be in the same place, same size, same everything. No need to configure it again and again ;-)

marvin, have you seen this open source magnifier? http://magnifier.sourceforge.net/

It is not suitable the way it is, but since it magnifies the screen underneath it, it would seem that with some modification (eg if the app could be modified to magnify a static offset location) this tool could be used to keep the magnified speed/etr display in the lower right-hand corner.

    Any takers?

yes, sorry, i did mean marVin.

Yes, that one looks great, too. Actually yes, that one could be I guess easier to incorporate into a front end. But I'm thinking in my setup I wouldn't be able to keep it in the lower right corner, covering the existing ETA box, because at times I want to switch from ETA to REM, and sometimes I need to quickly check DEST. I know of no way to switch these functions, other than with a mouse click. An easy mouse click would not be possible if a magnifier covers the ETA box. Do various front ends provide a way to switch between these functions somehow?

    I'm used to the T & V typo ;-)

Well.. if a coder was to take on this project, they could just make left-click on the magnifier send a mouseclick to the center of what's being magnified, and make a right-click close it..

Wow, very nice job! Would there be a way to get rid of the Title bar and make the borders either non-existent or at least a non-blue color (e.g. a lighter shade of grey).

P.S. I used to like your avatar, why this newly added frame??? LOL ;-)

Yeh, I originally made this program to be used in conjunction with SKINbedder, so I felt that I didn't need to remove the title bars I'll add those features.

Frodo decided to mess with my avatar. I'll redo mine in a few days.
