I'm still looking for a tool that can magnify something that is hidden. For example, place the zoomed ETA over the non-zoomed ETA. Has anyone ever seen anything like that? I could sware I've seen a magnifier that you can drag around and it will magnify what ever it is covering, but maybe I'm crazy and it is not possible!?! Damn Windows API

Awesome. With source code too. This is exacly what I needed. Hopfully it will be able to "magnify" a window that is behind another window too.

Ol33l: Check it out man! This will add a lot of power to SKINbedder.

Why not just use the other 'memory' utility, and grab the value from the memory registry, and render it within a window with large true-tyoe fonts? This way it will not look all blocky and pixelated...

It's not just for things like ETA, and I don't even need magnification, just a direct copy. Say you want to display the GPS Info windows Speed/Alt/Sats AND the GPS Info windows compass/sat. radar. Right now SKINbedder can only crop a window, so unless you want to see the whole huge-*** GPS Info window, there is no way to see the compass/radar in the lower left AND the speed/alt/sats in the mid right. Plus memory look ups would be way too hard to make universal. More and more people are starting to use SKINbedder on many programs, not just iG.

Yeh, I also thought I saw something like this a while ago. I looked at some source for screencapturing a handle, but it just does a printscreen, and cuts out the area that the window takes up. So it doesn't capture that window.

0|33|, please completely disregard what I asked for on the previous page regarding the possibility to "lock" the position of gZoom on the screen. I have used your gZoom for the past few days and I realize that the "lock" feature is absolutely not needed. The main thing is that gZoom remembers its last position on the screen, and that is really all that is needed. Keep it simple ;-)

The other suggestion to perhaps eliminate the presence of gZoom in the Windows Task Bar would be nice, if implemented, but I wouldn't loose any sleep over it.

I'll play with your gZoom a few more days and I'm thinking of discontinuing iGkeys support of the expensive Magnifier in the favor of your ( free ) gZoom.

(Anyone beside me wasted money on Magnifier? LOL)

Glad you like it. We are going to integrate it into SKINbedder, so when you resize iG in the frontend the zoom area doesn't stay static. I'll add option to remove its window from the taskbar

Oh, and it will stay free
