    "ding" insted of voice directions

    Ok I try to use voice nav, and It dodsn't give me any voice directions at times I hear "Ding" which is known as "Default sound" in sound properties. Any idea why it doenst give me voice directions. The ding is nice but its not helpful.
    Thanks Im useing Street atlas USA 2004 (I know it sucks but its all I got)

    I know this happens on destinator, might be the same thing. If it can't find the WAV file associated with the word it will play the default windows sound instead.

    Are you sure all your voice files are installed properly?

    I am missing a whole load of voice files for destinator 3, Is there anywhere where i can download them?

    I think your right but how would I install them? I did the max install when I Installed SAtips I even used the "program" cd to install the maps ect off of that. Do you download boice directions offline?
