Everything recognizes the Earthmate BUT iGuidance

I installed the Earthmate. It's being read as being on COM 3 by the computer. The Delnorme test software recognizes it fine. The system device manager recognizes it fine.

IGuidance doesn't recognize it. What the hell?

Nevermind. It was an IRQ Conflict. Missed it the first 12 times I ran through the settings.

Hello! I'm a first time poster. I'm trying to put together a system myself. I have the DeLorme USB Earthmate Atlas 2k5 package. That USB GPS unit picks up the sat signals hella quick!

The software Street Atlas that it came bundled with was not very friendly for the road. I was looking into iGuidance and CoPilot for a better solution. As I was browsing the iGuidance site, the FAQ says that iGuidance will not work with Earthmate USB GPS receiver. Is this correct?

No that is not correct. You just need to install the driers to make the computer think the Earthmate is a serial device not a USB device. The download you need is on the delorme website

Does anybody know where I can demo or "try before I buy" iGuidance. I'm trying to decide between Co-pilot, iGuidance, and my SA2005. SA2005 I have when I got my earthmate. I love the GPS receiver, but SA2005 is a nightmare in the car. font is waaaaaaaaaaay too small.
