hey thats a good idea, i think i may try to put my xm under my center brake light thingy.
im gona try it tomarrow, so ill post back what happens im a little worryed about signal but its worth a try!
just wanted to ask a dumb question, but seeing as we share the same vehicle, why does XM radio ONLY work in the USA when it is transmitted via sats? is it because they only transfer when over the USA?

yea thats correct. one on the west coast and one on the east coast, if i remember right.
Not being a satellite expert, I can only guess that the same applies to our Austar Sat TV service, the sats require a geosynchronous orbit to maintain a position over the target audience, there by sending signals to those that need it.
Should be the same for your XM but never tried XM so don't know.

I couldn't even get Sat radio in Hawaii. It's to far off the coast to pick up the sattelite footprint and they sure as hell weren't going to dedicate a satellite to Hi.
