No. It's actually quite the opposite. That's usually my computer's response to me. Normally I can keep them in check but when they get ****ed off at me, that is the outcome. That's actual footage too. Most people just think that it's an animated GIF.Originally Posted by Blue ZX3
Im aiming for the programatically muting approach still
So far I came across this: http://www.sysinternals.com/Utilities/Filemon.html
I am asking the authors for the source code now so I can make a utility to poll when the audio files are opened. Then all I need to do is hit a key or something to pause the centrafuse audio and were all set...
I like my way better. A lot less trouble too.Originally Posted by PURDooM
I don't have that problem. iGuidance lowers the volume in CF whenever it's going to give directions. Try setting the volume to the second highest setting and see what happens.
Im still not following you guys then. So you record new wav files that have 3x the volume as before... how does that make centrafuse lower its music volume when directions are played? Wouldnt the volume stay the same and the voice just come out loud?
Ditto. I don't have any problems with iG LOWERING the music or dvd volume when giving directions. It gets annoying if you are being routed through a city where you have many turns in a short distance since the volume goes down, directions are spoken, volume goes up, volume goes down, directions are spoken, volume goes up.... you get the idea.Originally Posted by PURDooM
