    Tom Tom SDK

    Tom Tom do an SDK for their software.

    It is a bit pricey at $199 but I think that allows you to distribute apps not sure tho.

    Is anyone looking in to a similar thing to Map Monkey for Tom Tom?

    USB:
    Haicom GPS
    Belkin Wireless

    Case:
    Installed in an old NTL box, (best thing for it)

    Screen:
    LinITX 7"

    Well, I own a Tom Tom bluetooth gps, and I gotta say, it's the baddest GPS device I've ever used. I can even use it indoors! Great unit.

    But back on to your topic, I'd gladly start making a FreeDrive/MapMonkey style app with the TomTom SDK if it was priced more affordably. I'm not paying for that

    still only a PDA based app.

    Will not work for PC.

    Last march there was no PC SDK for Tom Tom, although I think there is either an emulator or SDK available for the PC now.

    if someone is gonna pay $200 for this.. why not just use mappoint??
