    I can't hand wire it now cause the Max 232 chip is installed wich works with a data cable as the cable has electronics in it to convert it to the serial signal

    I could of made a direct connection by taking the max 232 chip as it wouldnt be needed to read rs232 protocal but i already installed it so i gotta find the cable.

    Whts worse is the damn phone is missing lol can't find it around the house anywere gotta find it

    I got the last part and will install it now and power it up to see if i didn't screw up anything it should give me a power signal and a comms error signal so fingers crossed

    But i just tested it and the power LED lights up and the COMM led lights up so all looks good so far

    That site is nice but it uses a different approach and the info can't really be used in this as the usb most ppl use is USB and not serial.

    It be good if that was available as a standalone kitt or could be brought but it doesn't help what im doing but it seems like a better bet for ture standalone

    It looks like the mobile im looking for was given to someone so it looks like i gotta use my old 3210

    i got a phone cable for my new phone but the thing is the wrong cable for that model and the bastard of a website i got it from is ignoring my emails to get a refund or a replacement for the 3210 it's ****ing me off
