these maps are about 4 years old...well at least in the section at my school. i wonder how long until real time satellite maps?
don't quote me on this but would real-time maps not be hard with millions of people are looking for differnet locations at the same time
They are not gonna be REAL time maps until they can have a satellite looking at every suare inch first. These maps are based on the USGS's (i think the acronym is correct) maps which are only updated every several years. The map that includes my house is years old, and doesn't show the new school, or the housing development that hs went up behind my house. And it still has the neighbor's pool in their backyard, which puts it back maybe 5 years.
