    BU-303 dim light

ok I did the search and I have it open and leads soldered on...what voltage do I need? I tried 2.7v on the terminals and the light stayed dim and GPS information still didn't recognize it.

I disconnected the battery entirely and that didn't help either.

Quick question.. did it get wet? Is there any rust in there? If so, let it dry out.
