Delorme Earthmate GPS LT20...

Hey guys I got delorme Earthmate GPS Lt20 install on my laptop It works fine but I can not get it to give me a turn by turn directions ,also it only show mayor streets can someone give me some adviced or comments will apreciate thank you in advance...

The problem is the software that you are using, not the GPS unit. Get iGuidance 2.1

I actually just made a trip back east and picked up the $99 package with the lt20 and Street Atlas USA 2005. (Versus $9 a day for a Nav unit in the rental) Takes a little long to get a long on cold start, but the gps unit and the software work pretty well. The NMEA mode gives pretty accurate speed numbers as well (+/- 5%)

To get the directions:

Select the Directions button on the left in the Route tab after setting up your start/end points. It will not start giving directions until it has a GPS lock on your current position and then gives directions based on that. (The audio cues are pretty nice as well as it gives you notification of next turns and such as well as the estimated time/distance for the current road)
