I have Street Atlas The thing that stinks about it is you can only add 200 addresses to your address book. I drive a truck and need more. I know I can buy street atlas plus but have already spent 89 bucks on the first one.

I plan my route inside with streets and trips on my laptop, then carry it to the car and put it in it's custom holder (like the police use, I can't think of the word! lol) and plus in the usb 353 and it works great for getting me where ever I need to go. I plan the route and when I get in the car I don't even need to touch it :) ....but I realize this doesn't work in everyones situation
Hey, I just picked up S&T 2006, it now does turn-by-turn voice directions, and, you can put it into 'Night Mode' where it's green-on-black... (I attached a pic of it to better illustrate this)
I've yet to try 'Direction Guidance' (OSD / Voice directions).... Since I just got/installed it.... haven't even had it in the car yet :)
I have Streets and Trips 2006 and I must say it is great. turn by turn directions, 4 different map views (including night view) and the POI directory and search feature is by far the best!
I have a Xenarc 7" LCD and I run the video card at 640x480. I run it with a form factor PC mounted in the trunk with the LCD mounted in the dash. It works very well. For software I currently use iGuidance, but I have several issues with it.
Would anyone think that S&T 2006 is a suitable replacement for iGuidance? can it be highly customized to be run entirely from a low resolution touchscreen? The GUI would need total replacement to accomodate big buttons.
I'm using viamichelin(searching for a better app) here are some pros and cons:
Pros - Very userfriendly, 3d view
Cons - Hard to get updates, before u can use the touch-screen friendly u needa fil in ur detination etc without a touch-screen friendly gui, it brings you to your destination by strange roads OMG really strange..
I am looking for information for gps now. I will read this carefully. Thanks.
