I have the same issues, but with standby instead. The weird thing is, sometimes it'll nag, sometimes it won't. My configuration never changes...
Anytime I go into hibernation with iGuidance and my Rikaline Receiver I get the warning window upon restore that the program has lost communication with the receiver. No big deal, just hit the ok and it resumes. My USB ports do stay powered during hibernation as well as the LED stays lit on my Rikaline during hibernation so I know that is not the issue.
Now the interesting part.
Yesterday I installed a new handheld wireless trackball to replace my existing wireless handheld trackball and now iGuidance has no issues when coming out of hibernation, it just works, nice!
I do not have any hard proof as I never checked the voltages used on my last USB wireless receiver versus the new one but I would be willing to bet that the old receiver took just enough juice so that it caused issues with the GPS receiver.
Just wanted to share my experience so if you have a similar issue try removing some devices first and see if it is a voltage issue before starting to pull your hair out.
This was the last little bug I needed to work out of my system but never got time to mess around with it as it was not that big of an issue so it was a nice surprise for it to get worked on it's own in a way.

For those that have problems, go and use iGSkinner... link in sig![]()
hey 0l33l, it doesn't work for standby by chance does it?
Don't know. I think windows sends the same message when you go to standby as when you go to hibernation.Originally Posted by silencery

How does your USB stuff stay powered on if you hibernate? I thought that was only during standby?Originally Posted by Troy McClure
