iGuidance issues

You do have a valid point. But it just looks like too much work. Take the above mentioned Recalc Registry Tweak for instance. A month or two ago, when 2.1 came out, it wasn't possible. Now, 2.1.1 just came out and we can do it. I suspect when the next release of iGuidance comes out, it will no longer be necessary to do the tweak because by then the programmers will have fine-tuned the re-calculation algorithm of iGuidance (likely).

(But, of course, that's just the lazy nature of mine analyzing this. LOL) The STICKY in this part of the forum is a great source of tweaks and ideas. And also you may look here: >click<

Hehe, I understand, it really does seem like an awful lot of work.

It would just be nice to have all the info in one place.

Weird. For some reason I cannot access the GPS Passion site from work (military net in Iraq) but can get on it through our civilian satellite network (ISP in Italy). There's some good stuff over there and I can tell you been busy with iG, Marvin.

I think that is would be a good thing to do, however, like you stated some stuff doesn't work in some versions. The best thing to do would make a FAQ for each version. Simply copying and pasting the stuff that does work in each FAQ would work. You've got a 2.0 test subject if you wanna give it a go?

I agree, assuming someone would like to put the time forth. IMO members of this forum would benefit greatly from this recommendation.

I've already started a version for 2.0. Basically, I'm taking all the customization information from GPS Passion forum and gonna try it out one by one. I should be getting v.2.1 here in the future so I may be able to do that one too (but that is not a definite). I've got nothing but time on my hands. Just take a look at my sig.
