Yes, correct, it is the same, just the logo is nicer ;-) But I hear that it is not as sensitive as others with the same SiRFstarIIe/LP chip. The other receiver that you are considering, GPSlim236 by Holux, is much better.
OK guys, I need to choose which GPS receiver to buy. My Rikaline 6010 is just not cutting it seems to never lock when there are clouds and barely get over 4 sats. I have been reading up on both these receivers. I just want some of your input on which you would rather go with. I will be hooking whatever 1 i get via USB, I dont wanna use BT. For the igps-360, if i decide on this one, I am going to get the one made by MS w/ MS Streets and Trips. I can get it for $100 with the USB cable.
The one made by Microsoft if the same exact one as the pharos just with the microsoft logo correct??

How much better....if i go with the pharos one...will i get good signals in with cloudy/rainy weather??
Yes you may. Especially if you place it so it has good view of the sky. But just keep in mind it is based on an older generation chipset and it cannot compete with the new receivers based on the SiRFstarIII chip, which some users report works even in some indoor environments.
