The other holux devices have a plethora of different connection options. that connector is the same as the one on my GR-211, and has a USB adapter.

I just ordered one, we'll see how long it takes to arrive! $90, free shipping, and no tax - not bad!

    Hi,
We will receive stock of 20 devices during next week.
    Have a nice weekend.
    Thanks.
Yeah, except that I ordered from them 2 weeks ago, didn't hear anything, so then emailed to see what was up. They wrote back saying they had emailed me to let me know they didn't have the stock and they would try to ship it to me this week. Got another message today, no dice till their 20 next week.

So, who knows how many others ordered as soon as it went live on their site (which doesn't indicate in or out of stock) and are still ordering. So when those 20 units come in, I know my name is on one from talking to them, but you should see how many others are before you in line! Other forums related to GPS, Dell Axim's and the like are asking about this device and linking to Practical Solutions' (ps-gps.com) site.

By the way, not only is it $90 + free shipping + no tax, if you join aximsite.com (free forum) and put aximsite in your order, you get 5% off before June 30th. So order, get the discount, because so far they haven't done me any good -- 1500 mile road trip starting this week and I'm without GPS at the moment because of them -- and sit tight....

    Hey Guys -

I ordered one too - make sure you demand that you get the usb adapter with it - I got an email from them saying it's an extra $10, but clearly on the website (at the time I purchased it), it said "with USB adapter cable & SiRF III engine".

I emailed her back saying I have a printout of the site with the date I purchased and claimed its false advertisement to not include it. She said it would ship with my order (around July 6th)

    Update from Practical Solutions:

    "Thanks for your mail.

We apology again for the late delivery of GR-213.

We launched the new product information on line when Holux announced GR-213 to us. At that time we were adivsed that the delivery would be in the middle of June, and then we were advised the delivery would be late to the end of June,
since the SiRF StarIII chipset has beenshort in the market.
We urge Holux everyday and it seems the delivery will be late to July 6th again.

We tried to get the GPS Mouse StarIII from the other vendors like
Globalsat, unfortunately, they all postpond the production of GPS Mouse, due to the lack of SiRF StarIII chipset.

We'd like to tell the buyers the truth of the delivery, some accepts it and wants to wait, but some can't.... of course we understand the buyers all want the products once they paid. We never ever intend to cheat any buyer, while we are very very care
about our good reputation to do business on line.

Please note that GR-213 is a PS2 GPS Mouse. If you need to use it on USB. You need a PS2 to USB cable.

We apology again for the delay, and it appears that we won't get the GR-213 until July 6th."

Since I am leaving for my road trip this week, they offered to expedite me a SiRF II USB mouse in the meantime that I can return when I get back, which was nice and I will take them up on it. But note they also are trying to switch up the USB story on the GR-213. That's not nice. I hope it's worth all this effort!

Funny sidenote: In a previous email from them, they apologized for the 'incontinence' caused me from this situation!!
