Check the emporium for both of you questions....
Hello, I currently have a carputer and am in the process of looking for a gps unit/software. I have heard that Iguidance is good, but I am on a tight buget. I also have no clue as to which gps receiver is good. I have seen delorme street atlas w/ gps unit for $85(US) on ebay, is that good software/ good gps receiver?
I truly don't know much about gps except that it tells me where I am via satellite.
Thanks

Good software? Well, it will work, and do most, if not all the things you want. But, there is a reason that poeple prefer IG, cause it is one of the best. If you are trying to save money, save a little longer, and do it right. If you can't wait, then choose the best you can afford. SA might be your answer.Originally Posted by soloman02
In the past I have used SA, Streets and Trips, Routis, and now IG. I was happy with SA, until I found Routis, which was the same as IG. Then Routis went out of production, so I got IG.
