Why can't this software ever tell me to go via the motorways. Its always telling me to go via all a and b roads. Example From cr2 9dy to cv4 9ba it comes up with all A and B roads but no motorways. Any solution to this? Please help.

you can always try changing quickest route to shortest route and vica versa.
Also, there is an avoid roads section. Make sure nothing is selected there.
yeah.. as rickster says.. I bet your on shortest route and not quickest.. I found this out when I first tried MM. I was testing it against tomtom 3 on my pda.. didnt know what the hell was happening, one telling me to go one way, one the other.. I was like.. why the hell do I bother, might as well just give the wife a map as I get the same results from her !
CdR
I tried shortest and quickest, still the same result. I hope something new turns up before I have to spend money on a stand alone navigation system like tom tom etc.
That sends me up the M1 & M45 for part of the journey. What map version are you using?Originally Posted by sajeev

In fact it's exactly the same route that Autoroute 2004 gives me...
