    Nice, it say they will have improved signal power, I hope that mean my gps receiver will work on cloudy days.

    It will also broadcast on two frequencies, instead of just one. Meaning you'll need a new receiver to pick up the new freq. I'm assuming the current freq will remain though.

    And in few years, we'll see GPS-Gallileo enabled Geek'toys, able to lock not only on GPS satellites but on Gallileo staellites too (todays some gpsreceiver can use the old russian GLONASS)
