Oh hang on I got it, the naughty corner.

We dont have steps, seen them outside houses apartments etc on american shows and ppl just sit on them like drug dealers........

If you sat outside your house where I am you'd be visited by drug dealers trying to sell to you or to KTF out of you.

OK I have managed to get it open, it was well glued but a whack with a hammer got the case open.

I cant find a battery anywhere but I think I pulled a wire off the usb plug.

Well, I thought that the BU-303 had a battery which died pretty soon. I guess the BU-353 is different.

I dont care what band the signals are in, I work in Ghz/Mhz/Khz, but the PROOF is the readings, I get better readings on days with no cloud cover.

I'm static, the car has not been driven in nearly 2 years so its not different parked positions etc.

I will backstep a little here and agree the point the water vapour is unlikely, but its the readings, unless the cloud cover causes something in the higher atmosphere that is affecting it?

Lol I was joking, I dont have the same gps as the guy with the problem, but the internal battery only keeps time/date etc so it can find a quicker lock at power up the next time.

Kbreeden....try taking your pc off of hibernation. It sounds to me that you were having the same problem that I had once. Hope that helps.

The step would be one of the lower steps (2/3/4 depends on age of child) of the stairwell inside the house. If you you don't have the requisite no of stairs then a corner shall suffice.

I would certainly not recommend putting the naughty article on steps outside, due to the above mentioned, and also due to their vulnerability to theft.

ah this is uk, kids are not stolen that often, unfortunatly that gives a false sense of security etc.

And when it does happen its usually involved around divorce/custody battles.

And its usually fathers who do it, as women get custody 99.9997 percent of the time in our 50/50 society.

Thanks for all the replies. I don't know what was going on, but it seems to be working fine now.
