    I go from 8 sats to no lock...why?!

    Ive been doing some testing and what I have consistently found is that while driving I will randomly go from 8-10 sats to no lock at all. This is under clear unobstructed sky too.
    This usually happens for a short period of 1-5 seconds and then it picks back up with 8-10 sats again
    What the heck is going on here...


    I have a Garmin 15L (OEM type) with a might mouse antenna on the rear deck at the base of the windshield so its below the heater wires

    any satelite antennas in the area.. i get that when i go thru a certain patch on my way to work.

    aol..try disabling your network connections. There's been funny stuff occuring when I had my 802.11 running.

    Ill try disabling my wifi, thats a good idea to try
