The above mentioned exe modification was only useful in iGuidance 2.1, which was the very first version introducing full screen mode. The exe modification added a hotkey to toggle the full screen mode. However, the following iGuidance version 2.1.1 included F-key shortcut, so this modification is no longer required ;-)

Any bits not defined above are either only for the handheld version or don't presently have a meaning. Not all options work with all versions.

Yeah. I went back and re-read your thread over there at GPS Passion. In fact, I went ahead and downloaded all nine pages of it a few days ago. Last night, I reshacked the exe and built my theme.ini from scratch. There's a lot of good information in your thread.

I've confirmed that the full-screen registry value does not work in 2.0 (sorry 1.0 was a typo in my last post) but then again 2.0 does not have a full screen option as Marvin clarified above.

Thanks for the list lincomatic. Will definitly play around with some of these settings tonight. I'm curious what 0x40000000 : set=don't generate maneuvers on fwy splits does. A few months ago I posted an issue about my location snapping back onto the highway when taking an off-ramp and then supposed to re-enter the highway going in the opposite direction (U-turn under overpass) (in demo mode). Wonder if this would fix the problem. Guess I'll have to go and find out.

How do i enter these codes? do i just count them with my current Option value? because i tryed that with the pio option, but i only see a few PIO's.... (same whitout the value)

Basically you take what ever the decimal number is currently in your Registry (It's the number in paraenthesis before you started messing with it). Add the values together. Double click the Options entry, click the circle the change from Hex to Dec and enter the number. Restart iG.

Example, my dec started out at 12308.
12308 +16 +8192=
to add the GPS dot and rotate ETA/DST box

Now with lincomatic listing, I believe, this will enable you to set all your options basically starting for zero and then adding everything up.

Actually, the 0x40000000 value is currently obsolete. Early versions of IG would generate a maneuver at every fork of a freeway. The later versions don't need this flag, because they have smarter logic for deciding whether or not to generate a maneuver in these situations.

I left out one useful bit in my listing above, and have edited it. the definition for 0x00008000.

BTW, I prefer to do the bit math in hexadecimal. It's more straightforward for doing bit twiddling. E.g.

0x00002001 + 0x00004000 = 0x00006001

If you don't know how to do hex math, you can put Windows calculator into scientific mode to do it.

If you just want to show POI's on the map, just do it through the menus. The show poi names on map option turns on writing the names on the screen next to each poi icon.

Just take the hexadecimal value of your current options value and add 0x00004000 to it, then write it back using regedit in hex mode.

nervermind i just found it...

Is there a way to add stuf to the poi's? I have 2.1.2 Europe, but id does not have banks for instands... i would like to add these.

And is there a way to get Speedcams into Iguidance?
