New version of nmeaGE now available: Link removed – obsolete version

Now includes automatic GPS and/or GE startup (once configured). Creates network link for easy setup. Just configure it to start GPS and GE, and you're on your way with just one click.

    Enjoy!

You are the man Moto!!! =)

We would REALLY like a keyboard shortcut to change zoom and tilt if its not too much to ask. Mp3car users don't like to click around too much specially when you are driving 80mph+ on the freeway

Me thinks I need to add a disclaimer. Seriously, please keep your eyes on the road. It's all fun and good until someone smashes into someone else.

About the keyboard shortcuts, something like page up / page down keys for zoom and insert / delete for tilt? Vice-versa? Other suggestions for easy-to-reach keys? In order for this to work, the nmeaGE app would have to be the active window, or "on top" of Google Earth. It's the only way to capture keyboard input.

A lot of us are using girder. Maybe some sendmessages or a girder plugin??
That would add a lot of flexibility.

Girder is a new one for me. I have zero experience with it, so it is not a likely candidate.

After looking at the keyboard layout on my laptop and giving it some thought, the arrow keys make sense. Left arrow to decrease range, right arrow to increase range, down arrow to increase tilt, up arrow to decrease tilt. Both range and tilt increments to be configurable. May take me a few days to make it happen...

This looks awesome! However, useless to me until clearwire gets off its *** and comes to Boston. Nice find though, bro

rofl... at least your laughing i would be killing myself for that kinda bill. This program is just usefull for unlimited plans, I would never considered for a pay what you eat, considering these plans are like 50megs per month max (i bet you ate those 50 megs in less than a week). Here in mexico the unlimited edge costs around 90 bux a month, in US i think its around 60-70

Okay, this look REALLY cool! But if you're using nmeaGE for GE, do you still need to purchase GE Plus? Or is that what nmeaGE (in a sence) does?.. allows you to use your gps mouse with the free GE..?? anyone??
