How to get iGuidance to nav like mapquest?

Just can't seem to do it, no matter what setting it is on, it just doesn't seem to give me a great route for long trips.

    Anything?

What do you mean by "great route"

It will do weird stuff like take me off the highway onto a state route with a low speed limit, just to put me back onto the highway, where as just staying on the highway would be best.

I just wish it navigated similar to mapquest, but I haven't found the right settings, and was wondering if anyone had.

It's been a while since I really used it, but, there should be settings for quickest route (which would mean driving on "Fast" roads), shortest route (which would take you the shortest actual distance, no matter what the road speeds aree), etc... Try messing with those if you haven't already.

    GOt no other ideas.

Other than change the option to "quickest route" there is no other.
You may try Streets & Trips, its give the best/smart routing "I think".

    Best routing.

If you're not afraid of gravel roads on those rare occasions when they really are quicker than going around, DeLorme street atlas usa has the best routing engine I've worked with.
