Who feels like ponying up 1.999.95€ ?
I'll look for some other sources....
FindFirstChangeNotification
FILE_NOTIFY_CHANGE_LAST_ACCESS
That should be the thing to monitor... now looking for code. For some reason the code I've found doesn't do **** for it. Plus, there is a chance that the last access gets written after the file is closed, which would do us no good![]()
Here's a Mac solution for you (it's the one I'm using): VirtualPC running any of the PC softwares. I plan on using iGuidance. And since it will be running on an emulated machine, I'll still be able to keep iTunes running, and maybe even applescript it to reduce the volume when VPC has something to say. Granted VirtualPC is less than ideal (read: "slow"), I've got a gig of RAM in the Mini, which lets me push VPC all the way up to 512Mb (maximum), and these Nav softwares aren't hugely processor intensive. Since it is all that I will be running on the emulated machine, I don't forsee any speed problems.
MY04 Subaru WRX, San Remo Red,
Mac Mini carputer (Macindash) nearly complete. Current capabilities: Media playback, touchscreen interface, dual OS via VPC, iGuidance navigation. Future plans: Video capture, OBD-II interface, more racing stuff.
I have the same mini and was hoping VPC would work too. What gps?Originally Posted by SanRemoRex
