Excellent summary PURDooM ! And as you've said at the very beginning, it may help people undecided on which GPS navigation software to buy, so they don't "waste time (or money) on a different inferior GPS navigation app".

Great write up. I am currently using skinbedder 2.9999 embedded into ESX Manager, to date it is the most reliable setup I can put together.
IGMOD looks even better and I have it setup on my test bench. Puredom once it's stable I will owe you lots of beer.
I sometimes run into problems when I try and close Skinbedder and have to CTRL-ALT-DEL to end the task, but that doesn't happen to often and I haven't been able to narrow down the problem.
I tried to help RPMV4 with a skin but my graphic skills are about as good as RPMV4's.
