Read the reviews. Don't get any D3 based program if you're living in the US.Originally Posted by BrentMcGhee

If you are in the US your best choices are mostly likely either iGuidance (I love it) or Copilot. I've not used Copilot but from the reviews it looks like a really really nice program. I would definitely check the reviews out for both and pick one from there.
AMD XP 2600+/512MB RAM/120GB hard drive
Opus 150W/DVD/GPS/7" Lilliput TS/802.11g/Bluetooth
Installed.
-GPSSecure- - GPS Tracking
-AltTabber2.2.2- - Handy touchscreen utility.
Also use iGuidance here and am very pleased. used Mapopolis on the pocketpc but unfortunately it's not available on pc.

I've tried:
- on course navigator 5 (slow as @#$% on my Axim x50v, and on my HTC SX66 blue angel)
-Teletype (missing many streets)
-Deloreme (missing info on one way's)
-Destinator (dont remember what went wrong - oh yeah, to many steps to get anything done.)
None had a trial.
GRR!! ... so did download them via bit-torrent to try them.
I ended up purchasing I-guidance because they were offering registered users an updateSeems they care unlike the other software mentioned which has not offered any updates to a few known issues.

I've used CoPilot and IGuidance and funtionality between the two is similar. However, iGuidance is cheaper and is popular with the MP3Car crowd because it can be hacked to be more touchscreen friendly and adjust colours, text size, road width/color et etc. I stopped using CoPilot in favor of iGuidance.
EPoX mATX SocketA w/onboard Geforce4MX / 512MB PC2700 / AthlonXP 1600
Lilliput / DVDrom / Opus 150W / WD 3.5" 160GB / SB Audigy NX
XP home / Road Runner / iGuidance 4.0
iGuidance is my fav on the PC as well. I just installed it on my PPC, but it doesn't support 240x240 screens. I have a virtual screen application installed that lets me scroll, but it's just not the same. Mapopolis maps are awful (at least for MA) so the fact it's not available for the PC is fine with me.
Dont buy any software unless you tried it before. Dont listen to any reviews or what the others think of it. Its you whos gonna use it so you got to like it.
