LMFAO! I've seen that toooo!!! In my case, when routing to athens ohio, one has more information or different township info but they are generally the same.
thats what i have noticed. It could be something else though.

I've also found them to be mostly the same .. you can only search one state at a time if I remember right.
I think the one with the * is the greater metro area.. like I live in coon rapids (no afiliation to any racial term, just racoons) a suburb of Minneapolis, mn the minneapolis* entry will get me my address fine.

This issue has appeared some time ago, at around the time iNav introduced their first iGuidance Europe. I don't recall the exact iGuidance North America version number, but users immediately gave negative feedback and the problem was subsequently dealt with in the following version. This must have been close to a year ago if memory serves well. Current version no longer lists the same town twice or three times.

There was a proposition to change the name of the city just about 2 or 3 weeks ago because it sounded too hick or something, when in fact coon rapids is one of the most booming and complex cities in the metro right now. But so many of us have grown up with the name coon rapids that it just kinda sticks, and the proposed new name (river rapids) was met with very harsh negative feedback and the plan to change the cities name died a harsh and brutal death.Originally Posted by tj!2k4
