I got 2.1.3 and didn't really notice a difference, the update is only 18mb so it can't make significanyt map changes.
I have 2.1 NA and I'm thinking of upgrading to 2.1.3 NA, but what are the differences between the two versions?

Well if it isn't changing any map data...which I'm sure it's not...then the 18mb must just be of programming changes....and 18mb of programming changes could be a lot...so I was curious what was changed.Originally Posted by ukchris
that lists 2.1, 2.1.1, 2.1.2 and 2.1.3 as all the same, which they're not, so that doesnt help.Originally Posted by DarquePervert
If you can get the upgrade for free from iNav (which they did offer a couple of months ago), of course, go for it. Otherwise, I suggest you wait until the next major version, which is supposedly much better and geared more towards laptops.
any word on when the next major version is due?
I do know some of the mod software developed on this forum won't work with the newer 2.1.3 .exe
I asked Inavcorp in an email for the differences in the versions. Here's what I got as a response....
Assuming what you have is v2.1:
v2.1.1
-deleted the multiple city zone listing so when you look up a city center or POI, listings no longer separated into multiple zones.
-corrected Maploader issue w/ TX & CA
v2.1.2:
-corrected "off road" error
-corrected missing El Paso, TX map
v2.1.3:
-added wm5 support (but no longer support ppc2002)
-corrected contact lookup issue
All the above information may also be found on our website www.inavcorp.com under news/announcements section as well as support > download section.
Thank you.

Interesting, when I installed the 2.1.3 update it didn't prompt me to upadte my PDA, then again when I later installed on my phone it does work under WM5 and works well in landscape so maybe they snuck an update in without me noticing.
