Go to GPS Visualizer and import your .ns1 files. It will output to many formats including .kml for google earth.
I have used Net Stumbler to find all of the WAPs around my area, then I went to File -> Export -> Summary and saved it as a .txt file.
I then opened Earth Stumbler to convert this information to KML's, but Earth Stumbler says "there was a problem loading the Netstumbler summary file. Please export a new summary file and try again"
I have tried a few more times but still nothing.
Any tips?????
Thanks,

EarthStumbler development has been lagging lately, as almost all my attention has been on the next major version of Earth Bridge.
Apologies. Glad you found a solution, though.
I'm glad. You're welcome.
You first need a WiFi card in your carputer.i notice a post from you.
you had a picture of Google earth with saved hot spots..
how did you save these?? i liked it
Then, install a program called Netstumbler, you can download it from here - http://www.netstumbler.com/downloads/
With that installed, go for a drive around while Netstumbler is running and it will collect a list of Co-ordinates. Save these co-ordinates to wherever you want on the HDD, remember the name and location.
Then connect to the internet and go to this site - http://www.gpsvisualizer.com/map?form=wifi
Browse to the location of the saved file and enter that file, then change the output format to Google Earth KML. The rest of the settings you can play with. Save the file wherever you want on the HDD, remember the name and location.
Open Google Earth and go to 'Add' then 'Network Link', find the saved .KML file and select it.
That's it.
