    Garmin 15H Acting like a mouse

    I just installed a Garmin 15H on my com port and all the incomming data is moving my mouse curser and acting like a mouse.
    Anyone see this before..

    Start->Settings->Control Panel->Mouse->Hardware tab
    See if there's anything unusual listed there.

    Very known problem. Disable the "Microsoft Serial Ball Point" in device manager.

    (this info also comes up as 1st hit when you search google for "gps acts as mouse")

    Also if you change the baudrate on the 15H to something like 19200 it will never be detected as a mouse again.
