    Using Destinator 3 with WinXP?

I 'aquired' Destinator 3 but it keeps asking for ActiveSync and a PDA... which I dont have nor want. I have the software and the US maps, is there something special I have to do in order to get this to install on my PC?

    Thanks,
    _Kris

Install only the destinator console (auto-run from CD1, I believe) and extract all of the map files that are zipped on the CD. Then, download MapMonkey or FreeDrive and you'll be able to use the maps on your PC.

A registered version of the Destinator DLL will probably be required for full functionaliy.

hanzacra, I dont know if that is an option, when the auto-run loads, it pops up a screen and automatically starts preparing the install. After about two minutes it comes up with the error 'Unable to connect to Activesync' and 'No mobile device found'.
