Funky problem with IG3 and GPS receiver

I have installed iGuidance 3, Road Runner and a BU-355 with the serial port/ ps2 connector all on XP.

I have Road Runner set to load alongside explorer in the shell command so RR is always loaded before iG. Sometimes the systems work great, however, sometimes iG gives me a warning that it can't find the GPS. If I exit out of RR and try it as a standalone it still won't work. If I restart - it may find it. Seems to be about 50/50 right now.

Any ideas what can be causing this? I have Road Runner GPS com port set to 0 since I'm not running a port splitter yet.

Sounds like it could be a funky GPS mouse driver, try uninstalling the driver and reinstalling it...

    Peace,

Enter the RR config tool, and set ALL com ports to "0" or "None"
