    Hi guys.....

Ok what i want to know is when im trying to add address to favourites why isnt my onscreen keyboard work to add a name to the address? ie (johns home) why do i have to use my normal keyboard to type in the name???

Does any one know a fix for it? or what it might be?

    hi,

Assuming your using map monkey, there is a setting that is under 'environment' that says 'always show on screen keyboard' check that you havnt selected no in that box.

Whether you have this setting or not, there should at least be an icon for a keyboard at the bottom of the menu that you will have to press for the keyboard to appear.

i see what you mean i have never tried adding a favourate manually, there is no button to bring the keyboard up.

Must be something that can be done, the only other quick fix that i can think of is to use the windows inbuild on screen keyboard, i cant find any setting that wil display the in build destinator keyboard...

sorry i cant be any help!

Not much of a solution, but ive been trying freedrive, which is virtually identical to map monkey, and still based on destinator d3, you way want to try it, this doesnt appear to have this problem, as it has a decent on screen keyboard...

    heres the link:
    www.freedrive.co.uk

you will need to register on the forums to be able to download anything, worth a try. I have map monkey installed as well, and they dont appear to intefere with each other, so you can switch back if you dont like , just change your rrconfig to the directory you install it to

It is a feature of your operating system/front end program you use...

Windows XP has a built in on screen keyboard, try going to Start>Run>Type 'osk.exe' without the quotes, that will load it.

Very rare youll need it if you use a decent front end, as they have one built in...
