Installed all my cameras now. I'm really impressed with those cheap chinese ones. Can't wait to see what they can do at nighttime. So I have one at the front (with DVR, no GPS yet), one under each rear view mirror and one in the back up top). See signature link (soon) for details:"

Have you got any video's uploaded yet we can have a look at, what camera's are you using ?
Cameras are the ones on this thread...Same ones as the OP bought:
No video yet, I'm only recording front grille camera, I may setup something else for parking, once I get the hang of it :-) I remember test driving an FX50S, and I got this to play with:
It worked great, I could park only looking at the cameras really fast (I mean, *really* fast...). I think the car drawing in the middle helps a lot.
Im still looking at camera's, am I right in assuming that the wider the viewing angle the more fish bowl effect ?
Only in extreme cases. Fishbowl are completely circular, fishbowl like are round in the corners, very distorted. A fishbowl or fishbowl like would only work for me if i wanted a single central camera inside the car, at the ceiling. I would capture all windows, any movement inside (say a dealer employee looking at my coin holder, rough handling aftermarket stereo, poking under the seats, search on YouTube and you'll see...)
Now regular, less extreme, wide angles in general are great for rear view and side view cameras, and that's what I'm using, close to 180 degrees or more). At the front, Im using a regular 90 degree viewing angle (45 each side from a perpendicular from the camera lens), which is not much, but great at establishing relative speed and position.
I got it all working, its sort of installed but not 100% at the mo as I have wires all over the place, this is the test:
with the 6mm lens, I would like it a little clearer, Im going to try with 4mm lens and then the standard lens that cam with the camera
Here another test, same run using 4mm lens:
I dont think its ask good as the 6mm lens, or maybe its just because the sun wasnt shining that day
