    GPS hardware

I am about to purchase my first GPS and i am curious if I will be able to use the roof mount antena that I currently have. It was originally for the Onstar that came with my car. It has this connection on it labled GPS.

and I am wondering if I could use with this receiver or if there is an adapter to do so.
