Not is a problem, the problem is when you have a GPS USB for the PC-Car, and install the PDA for use like a Navigator, the PDA need any GPS input, and the perfect solution is redirect the information from GPS USB to the PDA via Activesync, with, for example, Franson Gps Gate 2.0.1. with this dont need a PDA with BT for the GPS, for example...

If you have a GPS BT, dont need some software, the PDA receive GPS info by your GPS BT and works perfect.

The Guru programmers it resolve in five minutes, but I never have programed in .NET, and not have many time to dedicate to it.. but, time at the time...

I used to use SOTI for general use and noted the skining option. That been said this is the first skin I have seen for it and I'm impressed.

Destinator, Navigon, & I beleive tomtom alledgedly disabled the ability to run TomTom on a 7" at native resolution because of some bull**** license infringment with OEM Satnav suppliers, and to stop the Likes of CarPC's taking a market share off the PNA devices. Don't know how true that is though

This message I received some times and I solved it, with this:

    HTCTyTN2-Scr=7,75,247,395

The window screen size of the skin need the exact size of 240*320 (or 320*240) depending of the orientation of your skin... revise this, one pixel more and you receive this message. (7 to 247=240px and 75 to 395=320px)

If not is this, revise the size and position of yours buttons at the skin. The size of the screen not is controlled for the soft, not is important for it.

If you continue with problems, send me your .bmp and the skins.ini and I try to solve.

First notice... never have experimented any problem with this... and I use all 3 in my CarPC, (Navigon NCK5 - looks friendly, Destinator 5PN Last maps versions and "radar" points, and TomTom 6 treated on this post...)

No... I meant the software they run on the PNA devices, not the PC/Laptop software versions

is there anyway of getting sound through from the PDA to the PC via active sync / SOTI?

i can bearly hear TOMTOM when the PDA is in the glove box

I guess it would be possible to plug the headphones from the PDA i to the microphone socket of the PC nut it just more cables to run round the car
