Definitely build your own if you want it to do exactly what you want.
I was ALMOST done with my first build, built the case for it, all the electronics, software and everything. While trying to take a video of it in action two days ago, I shorted out the positive line to the case ground. Fried my mobo....
I just went out yesterday and bought me some new stuff. Now I gotta build a whole new case cause the one I had already built is too small for the new mobo. The good thing is that all the electronics are done so there's no need to spend time on those.

I am building my own.
What I would like : a complete all in one solution in 2DIN case which looks like the OEM unit.
I started working on it on march.
The project is about 450 hours of work and it isn't finished yet.
