No need for a case, though.

Definitely build your own if you want it to do exactly what you want.
I was ALMOST done with my first build, built the case for it, all the electronics, software and everything. While trying to take a video of it in action two days ago, I shorted out the positive line to the case ground. Fried my mobo....
I just went out yesterday and bought me some new stuff. Now I gotta build a whole new case cause the one I had already built is too small for the new mobo. The good thing is that all the electronics are done so there's no need to spend time on those.

Motherboard in case, custom wiring connections for custom made wiring harnesses. Everything is made to the correct length, one harness carries all the wires for tidyness:
My screen bezzel is made from a 3d printer. Time to do another for my tahoe.

I am building my own.
What I would like : a complete all in one solution in 2DIN case which looks like the OEM unit.
I started working on it on march.
The project is about 450 hours of work and it isn't finished yet.
