OMFG, I want that for my car..... Ive been debating on getting the parking solution form here, but I hate that you have to buy 2 units and make sure one is wireless and the other usb. This device you point to could be used in so many beneficial ways. Currently I have a cam system that monitors all sides, but to also include detection is awesome.

The solution of the WiSEC company allows to change the interface in the ultrasonic block without sale of the old block and purchase of the new. For this purpose in the block they provided the socket for connection of the interface adapter (position 5).
At the moment there are two types of such adapters - USB and Bluetooth. Cost of the interface adapter makes 10 % from block cost.

We have so far redesigned the site and the software. Features:
* Parking assistant can work with or without CarPC (or when CarPC is booting or program not loaded)
* Sound indication is in beeps on the device or speech/tone on CarPC
* There is internal sound beeper with adjustable frequency and loudness
* 8 sensors in one package
* Version is wired
* 2 GUI programs nicely working transparantely over RR/CF [integration is not really required altough we have a port]
For US market, you can easily get 2 radars on local market, and USB adapter starts from $38 (so you if you know how to solder, you need the adaptor + 2 radars you obtain from local shops).
We can ship you two radars and adapter for $114 (needs soldering!) - this is the compelte DIY 8-sensor solution for rear and front, but you got to assemble it your self.
If you absolutely not into assembly, than there are assembled packages starting from $87 (USB port embedded right into the radar, which makes assembly quite inexpensive), to $187 - complete 8 sensor ready for installation package.
Software is installed trough a single http://www.novorado.com/setup.exe utility.
It is generally recommended for patient entusiast. Try installing the software first to make sure it's compatible - if something does not work, tell us. There is SDK in the package. Source code is mostly open.
