    SBC question

I've been rethinking about getting a SBC setup, and i've looked around, but i think most of them do not support windows xp, probably embedded OS only. So how can you tell which one would support windows xp?

Most x86 boards support WinXP. Often there is a driver download section for each board, have a look see what is there.

I have an older Advantech 3.5" SBC (Celeron 600....) Runs XP fine, a bit slow, but it works.

I think they're a great way to go.

    Hey,
I am using Commell's LS-372 (very powerfull) SBC, 3.5" support for core 2 duo meroms, etc. Fairly expensive though, but, certainly, there are many industrial SBCs out there, Advantech to name one one other.....

You pay for the small footprint though, but the boards are worth it - very good support, and stable Bioses.

always wonder how fast they resume? more specifically the post time.
Right now, my foxconn mobo has zero post time, and i don't wanna loose that.
