I'd definitely be interested for my 4Runner. I'm still in the planning stages of my new system however this solves one of the issues I was going to have to address.

no, but I was at fry's the other day and they had a converter to ISO input .. it supported many makes and it seemed that the way to customize it for a make was to change between a set of resistors it shipped with...

okay, see if you can locate an electrical manual for your Mitsubishi, or if you can locate the steering wheel wires yourself, take a multimeter, and set it to resistance. There should be a different resistance when (1) there are no buttons pressed (2) when each button is pressed.

i would be interested in v2 for $25 if it works with a 2005 Infiniti G35. let me know if you need resistor values...i can try to dig them up

Edit - I think I found the resistor values. Is this the info you need?

If you guys could get this to work with the CAN-BUS system on my VW I would seriously be willing to pay DOUBLE the asking price. It still would be cheaper than buying all the stupid adapters needed to even get an analog signal out of a can-bus system.

right, I talked to a guy I know who works with CAN extensively, he claims that it should be relatively easy but requires MCP2515 interface chip and PCA82C250 CAN transceiver. I'll take a look when I get a chance.

advantage of getting CAN bus working i suppose is that it pretty much adds OBD-II CAN capability to the system, at a relatively low cost....

anyway, I got the digital pot in I think, it currently _should_ be able to interface with any vehicle SWI-X can.
