Centrafuse plugin updated to fix very occasional crashing issue and audio not reconnecting on resume occasionally. Think that is everything! http://www.craigbrass.net/centrafuse.zip

Raw control app has also been updated to fix a couple of minor bugs (mainly to make it easier for me to test units before sending out but may as well release it too). http://www.craigbrass.net/radio.zip

Ok. New photos of boards on http://www.coolapplab.com/ultimate_c...ona/index.html

I have added the download links on there too as people who don't know about this thread keep asking.

Finally, price has increased a little. I will slowly increase it further to bring it more inline with the HQCT so order now if you haven't already and save!

Centrafuse plugin: If people could give the new Centrafuse plugin I released above at http://www.craigbrass.net/centrafuse.zip a test and let me know any outstanding bugs (I can't find any...), I will get them resolved ASAP. Please post if you don't find any bugs too. Always happy to hear that...

One final note: The new board uses a Mini USB connector rather than a full size one. I have changed the accessory offered as an addon to a Mini USB one obviously.

It's a joke right? Your product quality is even in the same ballpark as the HQCT, and it is not a custom design as theirs was.
I have a good idea what your power board costs to build, and can guess the V7 price.
There's a lot of profit in there.

The HQCT is FM only and has interference problems that our board doesn't, as clearly mentioned here by several users. I myself have had these problems as well.

Both our boards (initial and new) have been designed from the ground up for car PC use. Fair enough they use an off the shelf module but for DAB, you kind of need to.

http://www.coolapplab.com/ultimate_c...ona/index.html shows the quality of the new board. Build quality and quality of the design is clearly there.

When you say "profit", remember to factor in the following things :-
    1. Software development costs.
    2. Board design costs.
    3. Payment gateway / merchant account fees for the payment.
    4. Cost of postage, as it is included.
    5. Currency exchange fluctuations, as our prices are in USD, Euros and GBP depending on the country.
    6. We need to be able to wholesale this and still make some profit.

I think to pitch ourselves slightly under our nearest competitor, with us having a better product, is the right thing to do. Anybody who wants to save should simply order now...

Love the new board design and looking forward to it!

One thing is the the holes for mounting it - with the daughter board now on, it doesn't leave much room to mount it from what I could tell from the new pix. Would it be possible to get the holes drilled on the outer edges where you have the writting etc?

    Cheers

It is designed to go into an optional enclosure hence the holes being where they are. You are free to drill further holes if you like, though.
