Thanks to the generous support from Craig I have been able to develop an app to control the CB Venice 7 board in WPF and C#. I'm not claiming to be a professional developer, so the app is merely covering the main functions:

    • Scan for DAB stations
    • Scroll forward/backward through the available stations
    • Display station name and additional MOT information
    • Mute and volume controls
    • Setting and resetting 10 preset stations
    • The window size is for a touch screen in 800*600 pixels, but according to WPF philosophy it resizes to any display size

As DAB is on the rise again here in Germany I do hope that many new stations and services will come up in the near future. I've been using the system for a week in my car pc in the Munich area and reception has been flawless, even in underground parking lots. I'm using an old VIA mainboard with a 600 MHz processor, where Centrafuse is running too slow. The advantage is that it consumes between 25 and 40 watts when running. I'm thinking about integrating the app with a media player I've written in Windows Forms. Below is a screen shot of the main window.

new problem has arisen....been working patchy for a bit, noticed a pattern, when leaving radio on and just turning the key off, ie going into hibernate with radio still playing....first resume is OK, but second resume causes the whole CF front end to crash....needing a hard re-set.....also now when i try to switch to DAB it flickers a couple of times and then goes to FM...cant get DAB....when was the latest CF plugin released?

mzhussein: I can't replicate any of that. I could do with you turning logging on in CF and sending me a log to investigate. Instructions on the CF forums.

Hey mate is this a CF plugin or something separate? Would you consider sharing?

    Cheers

Hi, I notice a few of you are in Australia, I’m wondering how long it normally takes for this unit to arrive over here. Mine was posted on the on the 2-12. Thanks.

EDIT: Just arrived at the door.
