I can’t get DAB at this location, but FM here also shows Station Name, Song title, Artist and music type.
Yeh, the Directed HD units that you can get from the US pick up the RDS info in the FM stream on some of the radio stations here in Perth too.
Ok, that gives me some more info to look at now, I think I'll have to go back to the company and ask for some more info that seems to be missing from their DAB+ API lol![]()

A picture of the Radio App – Taken me four days to get to here. Just a few buttons to fix up and it’s done. I included the usual features such as: Auto-On, Auto-Off, lights a preset button if the freq is in a preset. Auto-mute/un-mute as other audio apps switch and the presets channels and master volume controlled from the steering wheel buttons.
Resizes to anything. I run 800 x 480 on an 8” wide screen. The MB comes with roll you own resolution (along with almost every other timing parameter) so it only takes a few seconds to make a custom 800x480 setting without the need for a flaky driver.
Hi MickZ
Will you be sharing your radio app?
The road is long but we are getting there.
I'm interested is you can take the time to do it, I'm sure others would want a good standalone app for this radio. Is the app skinnable so it can be embedded in another application ?

Hi, I just had a quick look at removing the DAB-RADIO module from the main app and it’s done. I Just have to write a setup function for it.
The program only runs under windows - XP to Win7 - and needs Net4 framework installed to run.
The buttons are “png” graphics, each named by function. You can make you own or change the existing ones to look like anything you like. I may see about adding a background graphic option. The program scales from 630 x 470 to anything.
If you or anyone is still interested I will get it ready for download over the next few days.
Mike.
Great news, I'll be waiting for your upload, thanks.

@CB,
Can you find out were my DAB is? According to your web portal, it was sent on the 2nd of this month and I've yet to see anything.
Please chase this up, thanks
