I know I should have tried it long ago, but with the garage being 40 degrees in the daytime, its not easy working on the computer, I have to pull the centre console apart to get at it! :)
I promise I'll get it in this weekend and have a go, sorry :)
LOL, my HQCT-e got benched because my 1st version MB didnt have CD in, then I updated MB and the HQCT-e was too big for where i wanted to mount it (this MB had CD in onboard) so went and bought the simple version of HQCT, but after this came out I downgraded or maybe upgraded to DAB+ and will use it for CDin, just got to mod the cable, will let you know how it turns out, but I'm a few weeks away from powering everything on and building the OS (W7 64bit) similar to Tiny 7 1st
Craig when you do enable the hotkeys please ensure the following:
- Hotkey to open the Utimate DAB
- Hotkey to search fwd and back for stations both within DAB but also FM
- Hotkeys to step fwd and back saved station presets. (for this please do not assign andividual keys to separate presets but rather step fwd and back the same way you would skip tracks within the media)
Now is it possible to make these hotkeys the same as what CF uses? For example:
CF Next track = Alt+D3 - Ultimate DAB Step FWD one DAB Preset = Alt+D3
CF Previous track = Alt+D2 - Ultimate DAB Step Back one DAB Preset = Alt+D2
CF Skip FWD = Control+Alt+OemPeriod - Ultimate DAB search Freq FWD = Control+Alt+OemPeriod
CF Skip Back = Control+Alt+Oemcomma - Ultimate DAB search Freq Back = Control+Alt+Oemcomma
By having the hotkeys the same as the media hotkeys within CF allows the same steering wheel buttons to do multiple functions depending on which module is open within CF.
I hope that makes sense
James
James: We are planning to implement hotkeys. It should be out in a build this month.
When ordering from Australia, is there any reason I need to pay in US$? I would rather pay in GBP as it is cheaper.
Where are you guys mounting these units? inside the pc casing or externally ?
This system makes it easier for us. GBP is for UK only where it is cheap for us to ship as this is where we are located. Rest of Europe costs us a little more so we bill a little more in Euros. Rest of world is even more pricey so we bill in USD (the so called world currency).Quote:
