I tried to select no comport after hibernation. When I did the whole machine hangs. I had to hard reset the machine.

I think that the comport needs to be released before hibernation and then reconnected after hibernation.

The DABRadio pluging from ibf will not work on my carputer. The plugin starts but no sound nor any response when clicking buttons. No error messages either. CBs stand-alone applications is working fine on the same carputer, but I have to press the ON (Power) button.

I actually feel sorry for u Centrafuse guys, it took mitchjs only few days to make the radio work in RideRunner and I feel sorry for mitchjs because CraigBrass has stiffed him of some payment, i think.

Has anyone heard from Craigbrass recently, is people receving their units after they order them??

For anyone experiencing noise or interference from a PSU or PC and/or noise that reduces disappears when the aerial and/or USB cable is unplugged.

Try a very short thick ground strap from the shielded case on the DAB receiver to chassis ground.

The standard board layout does not take this point to ground correctly. Earthing this shield (solder directly to one top edge) allows the receiver to tune and receive weak stations as well as a High quality “stand alone receiver would without the CAR-PC running”. This can also remove any/all residual noise on the audio line. Strange USB and/or aerial ground loop problems appear to be eliminated or greatly improved (assuming other ground and cabling connections are correct).

If this solution has been posted before then please excuse this posting.

    Thx Mickz.

It may have been posted elsewhere but nevertheless interesting enough to mention again.
I have some noise on the audio line so grounding the shield is definitely worth a try.

Did you go into the CF system settings to set the right COM port and recording device for the plugin?
There are different firmwares used in the CB modules but as far as I understand ibf did take this into account.

I have been in contact with Craig until mid April.
Did a CF 3.5/3.6 skin for him (with the icon I posted in here as well) hoping this would speed up the release of a plugin.
    Haven't heard from him since.

AFAIK the units are still send out, in batches.
This can take quite a while. 2-3 Months is not unlikely.
