Problem above solved. User TBM sent me a PM suggesting to look over COM port setting and Plugin installation. Thanks! As far as I could see they were OK but due to unresponsive wireless keyboard I managed to remove the settings button. I then reinstalled Centrafuse and the plugin and finally everything works beautifully. I guess a com port issue was resolved but I'll newer know. It just confirms that a reinstall sometimes is appropriate...

Now that the radio problem is solved I can finally go ahead with the project installing GPS, navigation and car diagnostics. Thanks to everyone contributing!

I was too busy this weekend and didnt have time to respond to anyone. Good to hear its all sorted now.

@ Harryharry you might want to try a different machine just to see if it will work, it look like you are the only one having this hibernate/standby problem.

The Module was initially mounted in a tiny metal case; this made no difference at all to noise. Locating the module close to the PC has no effect on noise performance if the DAB-module shield is grounded correctly.







Note: The aerial lead, even if earthed within 3 inches of the socket on the DAB module, will not correctly earth the module with respect to RF interference. The braid in the Aerial lead is a shield; it’s pretty useless as an RF ground return.

Love the new skin with your new version of the logo you sent me. This is what it look like with the logo displayed as "normal" (not stretched)

Can you post now without the mod having to check your post? I think its obvious by now that you aint a spammer or a leech

Ill work on the DLL next week see what else I can change. Been too busy lately.

I really like this plugin. But one thing: Can you switch Menu and Display buttons? In my mind Menu, Up Down and Select belong together.

Is it possible for users to edit Colors? I would like some red/orange for selected buttons, white text at daytime and green at night (Dim)

Display and Select I consider main functions. Menu is only used when you need to change system settings.
That is why I put Menu in the corner (but still on the same level as Select for easy two handed access).

However, you can easily change this by editing the skin description file.

Changed skin.xml: skinxml.zip

In the skin.xml you can also change LCD font color, If needed.
The other text is a Centrafuse wide setting. Have a look at the Centrafuse skin wiki and/or CF forum for more info on that.

The preset buttons are made up of separate images which can quite easily be changed to other colors by changing the hue. (e.g. in Photoshop change hue to -180 or +180 for red)

Yeah different firmware could result in different responses on the display. I have not tested any other board than one of the first version that CB sent out. I developed a fully working dll for OpenMobile so that it would be transparent weather you had a venice 5 or venice 7 but like I said I have not tested it with different firmwares.

Edit: Different firmwares could be handled by querying for the version and then handling it differently (although a lot of work).
