i have tried numerous leads and baud rates with same error, "invalid port selection", it shows up in device manager perfect and i can connect to it with a FTDI programmer so i dont get it. im thinkin there must be somthing wrong with the part of the main board that
supplies power the venice board.
there is 2 vr's on the board in between the 3 capacitors, the output line from vr1 says 3.3 v on the center pin 2 but im getting nothing, pin 1 is negitive which is fine as ive tested continuity and pin 3 has 5.1v in so im thinking this may be ****ed because vr2 has nothing in or out and i think this is wired in
series with vr1 which would make sense.
anyone know if pin 2 on vr1 should have 3.3v out or have one they could check on, in the mean time im going to order the vr
